Grandma's are Everywhere!

For about five days we got extremely spoiled around here having three Grandmas all staying at our house...Grammy Cathy, Nana Cheryl and Great Grammy Bev. Eiley was about a week and a half at the time. Adelynn had tons of tea parties, read lots of books, went on walks, made cookies, the list of fun goes on and on!! Eiley was hardly ever put down, except when her mean mommy insisted because I didn't want her to not know how to sleep in her little bed once all the Grandmas were gone :) Great Grammy Bev and Adelynn reading together.

Addie and Grammy playing with Eiley.

Making snickerdoodles, Mommy's favorite, with Grammy Cathy.

Reading lots and lots of nursery rhymes with Nana Cheryl.

Nana and Papa meet Eiley...

These pictures are from when Eiley was only a week and a half old. I know, I am a little behind, but what's new?!

Adelynn was very excited to introduce Eiley Jane to Nana and Papa. Nana and her 3rd Grandchild- Eiley!
Cuddling with Papa!

Nana, Aunt Amanda and Eiley.

We were so glad that Nana and Papa came to visit. Adelynn had lots of fun special play time with her Nana and Papa and Eiley got lots of cuddle time! We can't wait for them to visit again soon.

Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter celebrating that our Savior is alive! I love that we serve a God that plays such an active part directing our lives and is such a God of details - I hope to blog more on this later...

We went to church in the morning and then had family and friends over to our house for a yummy dinner and then of course games! It was a great day and it was a good excuse for me to get my house clean and finally fold the laundry that had been sitting on my chair for way too long!

Eiley and her first Easter basket filled with pacifiers and books!

Addie had foam rollers in her hair - she had slept with them the night before.

Eiley in her Easter "doll" dress.

We took a ton of pictures trying to catch a smile.

Our family of four.

Daddy and his two girls.

Adelynn loved her Easter dress, hat and gloves. So much that she didn't want to take them off, she wore them all day long and didn't want to change into more comfy clothes.

Our precious girls in their matching dresses. I thought it would be fun for the girls to match this Easter and Addie thought that would be really fun. Well, I probably starting looking too late, but I could not find matching dresses, so we had to get a little creative. I found a dress for Addie that had a matching doll dress, so that is what Eiley wore! It was pretty funny, the back of her dress was velcro and it actually fit her (although it was a little short, but the tights helped cover that!)

Adelynn Learns to Ski!

Last Monday we took Addie skiing for the first time and she loved it!! Every time she came down the bunny hill, she would say "Again, Again!" By the end of the day she was going down without Cordell holding the harness. I can't believe how quick she picked it up. There are two videos below. 1. Addie with our friend Nate skiing down and Mommy and Eiley looking on. 2. Addie with Daddy coming down the hill.

We went with our friends Nate and Stacey with their little girl Aspen. We had such a great day - it was sunny and warm...perfect Colorado spring skiing.

Addie just looked way too grown up, she is definitely a full blown little girl now!

Eiley slept the whole time in the Bjorn. Mommy and Eiley stood at the bottom of the hill and watched the whole time!

All tired out - she crashed on the way home! Skiing is a lot of work.
