Halloween - Fun with Friends

Things have been a little crazy, but I should be able to get back in the routine of blogging now - Hopefully!

Tonight was such a fun night. We had our small group with all of their kids over for jack-o-lantern pizzas, a little trick or treating and then we all headed to our church for a Harvest Carnival. Adelynn loved having her Grammy, Aunt Amanda and Uncle Jason with us as well!

These are opposite order of the night, but I am too tired to fix it!

We couldn't believe how still Addie sat when she got her nails painted at the carnival.

Luke's Farm

Today Adelynn and I met up with my old MOPS group and went to Luke's Farm in Evergreen.

Addie wanted to get in this old covered wagon, but I didn't know how I would have gotten her back out!

Addie loved eating the apples with the homemade carmel dip as a snack.

Addie did a great job decorating her pumpkin - her eyes are checking out a goat that is quickly approaching!

She did great riding the cow train, but you can tell by her face she was a little unsure.

Adelynn was so excited to see all of the animals, although when we got there she was petrified by the sheep and the goats that were walking around. She kept saying,"Hold you, Hold you." every time one of the animals came near.

Happy Birthday Grammy!

Today is my mom's birthday, so yesterday Adelynn and I had some fun making a little birthday video message for her. Adelynn couldn't wait to come and watch the take on the camera, so sometimes she didn't quite finish the message :) Happy Birthday MOM!

A beautiful day at the Zoo

Today was a beautiful fall day in Colorado. We went to zoo with Kristin and Katrina. It was a treat to be able to see both the baby giraffe and baby zebra. Another highlights were riding the train and the carousel.

Birthday Presents, Painting & Friends

This week Adelynn painted all of her "Thank you" cards for her birthday presents. Thanks Bess for the paint! She had so much fun choosing what colors to put on each card and they turned out really cute!

This month my niece Grace played at our house during the weekdays. Adelynn and Grace loved to play peak-a-boo, cook in Addie's kitchen together, jump in the crib, and laugh at each other. Addie thought it was fun to get to play with her cousin almost everyday!

Wearing the apron that Bess made her as a birthday gift, Adelynn intensely does the wash in her laundry center from Grammy. After she puts the clothes in the dryer, she shuts the door and then announces, "They're cooking!"

Tonight our friends the Feil's came over. Katrina and Adelynn are exactly a month apart. Here is a picture of the two of them reading together. They played so well together!

Adelynn's Birthday Carnival

We had a mini-carnival at our house on Saturday for Addie's birthday with face painting, a bean bag toss, a little ball pit, fishing for prizes, and an obstacle course. Adelynn and all of the kids (11) had a blast. It was special and of course, a little crazy, to celebrate with all of our friends and family. Adelynn was excited that Grammy Cathy came all of the way from California! So, here are some pictures...
